The UK has a thriving Kurdish community. The KRG UK Representation maintains good ties with Kurdish community associations, cultural groups, representatives and individuals in different parts of the UK, regularly meeting them to hear their requests and concerns and to promote their work and activities. We encourage the Kurdish community to be active citizens in the UK with strong links to our homeland. 

The KRG UK Representation regularly supports or participates in Kurdish organisations’ activities in Britain, such as cultural and artistic festivals, college and university [discussions], medical and scientific seminars, and Anfal genocide remembrances. And every year, members of the Kurdish community, as well as our British and international friends, are invited to our summer reception.
