Specific power of attorney

Cancellation of power of attorney (applies only to those issued by the KRG UK Representation)

Proof of Life (also known as Certificate of Life, Letter of Existence, Certificate of Existence)

Authentication of:
Marriage, Birth and Death Certificates
Iraqi identification documents (Civil Status ID, Nationality Certificate only if they are issued in the Kurdistan Region) and Company registration documents.

We do not issue visas and passports. Please contact the Iraqi Embassy. See details.
Regrettably we are unable to provide financial assistance to bereaved families who wish to send the remains of deceased relatives to Kurdistan. We can however provide advice and support with the necessary documentation. See details.

Consular, legal and administrative services are available at the following times:

Without appointment on Mondays and Thursdays from 11:00 to 16:00. We do not provide consular services on other days of the week.

What you need to bring with you:
Please check what you need to bring with you before you visit our office. In most cases you need a recent passport size photograph, Iraqi ID such as an Iraqi passort or Iraqi citizenship papers, and the full name of the agent, lawyer or relative to whom you are giving power of attorney. Fees
All consular documents are issued free of charge. This decision was made in Erbil in September 2011 by the Kurdistan Regional Government, at the Conference of the KRG Representations abroad.
